Ballet technique classes are the foundation for training and focus on developing a solid ballet technique with emphasis on understanding correct body placement, proper use of turn out, coordination of the upper body (epaulement), and use of arms (port de bras).

A style of dance that combines techniques of classical ballet and modern dance with the current forms of popular dance. Jazz also has its own movement vocabulary ranging from the isolation of certain body parts to the movement of the entire body with the accents of musical rhythms.

A vibrant style of dance that combines a variety of freestyle movements to create a cultural piece of art. Through its three main styles of popping, locking, and breaking, hip-hop dance has evolved into one of the most popular and influential styles of dance.

Primary Trainee Ballet Barre Class with Pre Pointe/Pointe 1 Focuses on foundational ballet technique without the center portion of the class. Working on placement, extension, and repetition to grow stronger in their technique.

Tap classes are designed to develop rhythm, style, and sound. Students will learn a variety of tap styles from Broadway to Rhythm tap. Exercises focus on building flexibility of the knee and ankles, coordination, and speed of movement.

An expressive form of dance performed to various styles of music. This class may combine the techniques of modern dance, ballet, and jazz.

A class that encourages coordination, spatial awareness, and fine and gross motor skills. Students will increase their strength and flexibility and learn a variety of tumbling and gymnastics skills.

Suitable for ages 5-7. Introduces the basic steps of ballet, jazz and acro. Shoes for ballet are REQUIRED. Each class will either focus on all 3 or 2 of the disciplines according to the instructor’s discretion on a rotating basis.

Suitable for ages 3-4. Introduces the basic steps of ballet, tap, and acro. Shoes for both tap and ballet are REQUIRED. Each class will either focus on all 3 or 2 of the disciplines according to the instructor’s discretion on a rotating basis.
