Taylor Emmerman grew up in Spring Hill, FL where she began dancing at the age of five. She pursued her dance education at Florida State University where she graduated with a BFA degree in Dance in 2015. At FSU, Taylor had the opportunity to work with faculty members such as Gerri Houlihan, Jawole Willa Jo Zollar, Anjali Austin, and Rick McCullough. During her time at FSU, Taylor performed at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts during the American College Dance Association Nationals. Taylor has trained in programs such as Alvin Ailey, Broadway Dreams Foundation, and The Broadway Experience. Taylor spent time in Boston dancing with Urbanity Underground and Lorraine Chapman, The Company. Since then, Taylor has taught in the Tampa Bay area and currently works as a registered nurse while pursuing her nurse practitioner degree. Taylor is excited to teach at Centerstage where she can share her passion for dance with her students.
